Okay now finally understand what "tasks" is and in this context I think the Font-Icon isn't totally clear especially when the button is placed in the folders menu. Since there seem to be a lot of problems with the folders menu anyway considering the option "removing Settings > Folders" and place the tasks icon somewhere else might be something to think about- if it's worth the work

I just think the solution to show it twice (like the suggestion you can see in the picture in the taskdescription; it might also make sense to show it on the right side next to the writing field like in davids ticket) might make more sense then showing the whole column on the right (what David suggested) since I don't think the programmer want to change the whole layout: the editing field / emailfield is always right and the field where you can select different options in the middle
so changing could become inconsistent and cofusing

Maybe the problem is rather that you would want to know if everybody gets the e-mail but there is no clear feedback if choosing "delivery status" means you will get the delivery information for everybody or just for the "main"recipient

Ich gluabe es sind einfach zwei unterschiedliche Designs, je nachdem ob es Auswahl von Optionen ist, die in dem Feld erscheinen können oder "eigene" Optionen die man an und ausstellen kann?

Ich denke es wäre notwendig, dass man nicht innerhalb von Tasks über die selbe Funktion/das selbe Symbol über das man auch E-Mail Ordner erstellen kann, einen neuen Task erstellt ausversehen wenn man links "Tasks" ausgewählt hat

I think my participants had no porblem with that, but probably only because they didn't think about it since it wasn't a real situationand they didn't really needed to know if each contact would reed the mail. I could imagine I wouldn't be sure how it works and how/if I get a feddback for all recipients (bcc/cc) or just one

Witch e-mails are selected is also shown by the slight blue colour. So maybe this problem and the problem of T3424 could be solved in a similar way?

@CarlosHR ja stimmt aber das Problem mit dem Anhang, war ja eher, dass da überhaupt kein Feedback kommt unten rechts und @Alem_V da hast du auch recht. Ich meinte aber auch kein Feedback im Sinne von "Der Anhang wurde erfolgreich hinzugefügt" , sondern irgendwie eine klarere Rückmeldung, dass der Anhang nun Teil der E-Mail ist und nicht nur ein Dokument in einer Liste neben der E-Mail. Eben indem die Anhänge als kleine "Tabs" z.B. zwischen Sender-Empfänger- Ebene und Textfeld oder rechts neben dem Textfeld (zusätzlich) erschienen, wie bei den meisten anderen mir bekannten E-Mail-Programmen

hm das sind ja aber auch völlig unterschiedliche Funktionen. Also ob man ein Bild in den Text einfügen oder ein Bild/Dokument anhängen will oder v.a. Adressen in ein Adressbuch übernehmen - importieren von Konakten ist ja doch etwas anderes als eine Datei an eine Mail anzuhängnen. Ich denke das könnte auch zu Verwirrung führen und Verwechslungen der Funktionen, wenn die zu ähnlich sind.

Das kenn ich allerdings auch von anderen Programmen oder Androidmartphones. Ich denke es wäre eventuell gut beide optionen zu haben (schieben und klicken)

@Viktoria oh you're right. I didn't remember we already had that ticket. So now we've the reconfirmation from the usetes, that participants actually had problems managing the "create contact" area as well

I think I already wrote this in a ticket before we did the usetest. So the test showed that it really might be a problem
