I referred to the discussion we had on the function "responses" after the heuristic evaluation. Like @bohlender noted, we agreed on renaming the function "responses" into "templates" because this name describes the function better (-->the function can also be used when the user writes a "normal" e-mail, i.e. no reply). And when the function is called "templates", I think the user will recognize that when he wants to reply to an e-mail with a template he has to click on "reply" first and then insert the template there.

Yes, that was my initial idea when I wrote the ticket. Maybe I didn't make that clear enough.
See T3478
Can this problem be united with T3478?
I also think the main problem here is that participants did not know the function "responses" and couldn't imagine what this function does and how it works. Renaming the function should solve this problem in my opinion
I think my participants would have needed some kind of confirmation that they have a) selected the function they wanted to select and b) that the function is active and (normally) works correctly (right after selecting the function). Simply presenting a feedback after sending the e-mail doesn't make sense in my opinion because when the e-mail has already been sent the sender has no possibility to change the settings he made regarding the return receipt.
I agree, I think the logout button is much more salient in the current beta version.

Same problem with my participants
T3559 also covers the issue that the filter function is hard to find
The participants asked me after clicking the slider and before sending the e-mail. The feedback should be displayed immediately after clicking the slider.
I think the problem my participants had was basically that they didn't recognize that you have to click on a special button to log out - I believe they thought terminating the browser session would log them out, too. If the logout button was presented more saliently and/or closer to the other important functions, the option of clicking on a button to log out would be more obvious and therefore probably used more often.

Isn't this problem similar to T2813?
Good point! All of my participants always tried Drag&Drop first, no matter if they should move or copy an e-mail, but with Drag&Drop you can only move e-mails. My suggestion is a two-level Drag&Drop-function --> after having dropped the selected object somewhere, the software asks the user if he would like to move or copy the object to this place (e.g. the file explorer on Windows PCs works this way)
Also applied to two of my participants.
I agree with you, @Catherine. Both of these two problems applied to all of my participants.
Same problem with my participants.
Same problem here with all of my participants.
Same problem applied to my participants. Good idea @Testmiriam !
This ticket applied to almost all of my participants - instead of clicking the logout button they wanted to close the whole window to log out because they did not find the button. Therefore, I think this ticket should be considered by the software developers. What about the other participants?

I could reproduce it by trying it a few times (the problem didn't occur every time). My phone is a Samsung Galaxy S5 Mini with Android as OS.

Isn't this problem covered by Ticket T3105 already which has just been moved to Done? Can we close this ticket as invalid then, @bohlender?
On my phone, this problem does not occur (Samsung Galaxy S5 Mini, Android). Seems to be an iOS problem
On my phone, this problem does not occur (Samsung, Android) - seems to be a problem of iOS.
This problem also occurs in the desktop version... Furthermore, I think this is a translation mistake in the German version (in English, the term "Personal" describes the tab kind of well, but in German it should be "Persönliches" (= "Personal data"), not "Personal").
@bohlender Should I implement these things into the task description?

I think this is an issue that is very difficult to solve: We haven't got any possibility to decide or test which symbol is recognized better (the used 'settings' symbol or the gearwheel). I think the currently used 'settings' symbol describes the function of the button pretty well.
