It searches for a calender and it works. Maybe instead of writting "Search..." in the field we could change them to "Search for Calender..." and "Search for event..." ? That would maybe lift the confusion.
Yes I think it is, butt I would like a way to explain what itt does and I am not sure if you need 9 options, maybe less would be enough.
@EsIsl can you try again? And maybe delete the task, if you can't reproduce?
Me too. I pressed save!
And which button do yu mean? the three dots?
We got this one twice. Can we delete one?

Adding it to done!
Done!
Nov 4 2018
Neither could I.
I updated the description once more and suggest transfer to "done"
I agree and suggest moving to "done"
done
I did press save for sure and I tried in multile times. And I just tried it again and the one I deleted last time was still there and then I deleted a new one and it is also still there.. Even though I oressed save every time
SOunds good
Done for me

so we delete the task?
done?
I changed the description. Put it to done?
If we just leave it with - "Request": overview for the year - it should be fine, I think?
I would put it to done.

sceenshot please
sounds like a good idea
I can not reproduce this either
It actually works. you just did not press "save"

Can I put in on done?
Agreed
Then change the description and put it to done?!
I'm not sure if we have to. It's not a bug report, it's a feature request.. @bohlender ?
That's what the ticket expresses, isn't it? Can we put it on done? Or anyone wants to change something?

i`d put it next to it. So you can add a calendar immediately but have the other functions summarized under the three dots.
I could reproduce this problem. Only the colour of the category disappears. the rest stays the same.
Sounds good
But we still need to change the despriction to fit the standards.
Do you want the plus button next to the dots or instead of them?
Ok, so @M.Gruber , @EsIsl , @A.Spiesberger and me are happy, how about the rest?
I want the user to be able to drag the beginning to e.g. 9 am and of course the duration of the event should be adapted automatically. Otherwise I don't need the whole dragging thing anyway...
I would suggest the idea that Michael had: if there aren`t any other participants added to the event, this slot dissapears. It is only available when others are added.
I would maybe just change it a little. The three dots are usually used on smartphones, so it is known that there are more functions available. But there could be a + button for adding another calendar?
I agree, i thought of it as an overview, for people who like to plan ahead or like to check when they will be the busiest during the year.
It worked for me.
Were you able to reproduce the problem?
I changed the titel to make it fit to the description :)
If Ben says it's ok. He created the ticket, don't know if he has some good arguements?
Yeah, and that' waht we want to change, I mean if you want to change the beginning AND the finish time, you will always need two steps. I like the ticket the way it is and would suggest putting it on done.
I could reproduce this problem. I will rewrite the task, so the others can reproduce it as well. I think when one participant is not free for the meeting it is shown - that it its function .
so we delete this task?
I agree that an overview over the year is helpful, for example if you want to search one date in the future (maybe your birthday 2 years ahead) it is way faster. And furthermore, like Annika said, you can count in one view how many weeks there are till one event or see how many days there are in one month or so on. You have this kind f general information in one view, just by clicking on the button "year".
if you want to change the start time (f.ex. event is entered from 10 to 11, and you want to have it from 9 to 11) you have to
- drag the event to the beginning point (so it is 9 to 10)
- adapt the duration of the event (to 9 - 11).
I'm happy with the three dots as well
I could imagine this is if you have multiple participants for an event and then you can see if they are available for this time slot or before or after?
I wouldn't mind it either way. In the apple calendar there is a little dot below the date and it kinds helps know when you have events and when you don't But if you put all your events in your calendar there would probably be a dot everywhere so there would be no value in that.
Everybody has to be happy with it.
Why has the user to make two steps?
If they want to let the event start earlier they just drag up the starting point.
If they want to relocate the whole event they take the event and do it.
I don't quite understand the problem?
I don't miss this feature. For switching to another month easily you can just change the month in the monthly calendar in the bottom left corner. But when seeing the year in an overview you mean the months at the top and every day below it right? Like in a weekly overview? I think this could help the user get a sense of when their year will be the busiest and when they have time to e.g. take on another project. If there's a project or whatever that lasts over a couple of weeks a yearly overview could also be useful to get an idea.
I changed the despriction again because it didn't all make sense - some parts were still suited to the idea before. I think now it all fits together and makes sense, so I'd be happy to move it to "done".
If I imagine that in my calender, I would have a circle around every day because there is something small going on or just a birthday, that would not help me at all as I still wouldn't know if I have time e.g. In the evening.
I think it's fine the way it is. You need the three dots for some things, if you have everything accessible right a way, that would be too much, and I do not think people need to add a new calender very often, so for me it's fine if I have to click on the three dots first.
Count weeks for example, move forward to an other date quickly...
Well if you ant to change both I would suggest opening the event and doing it there, I think this is more about, if I have to change only one I would like to be able to do it in one step rather than two.
what is the usecase for a year overview?
I agree. Should we move it to "done"?
I could find an "add calendar" button. Anyone else?
so we move the ticket to done?
Would anyone else think of it as helpful to have events marked in the smaller calendar? like a circle around the day?
But thus the user has to make two steps instead of one. it would be better to be able to change the "time" of the event at the beginning and end. You still want to transfer it to "done" now or you don´t mind to make the event change in two steps?
I changed the ticket. You all agree and want to move it to "done"?
this would clutter up the UI for a minimal debatable benefit.

Yeah that sounds good to me
