first of all, the limit pref has been mentioned in the rfc 8144 not before 2017 and is a Microsoft extension.
Secondly, the Sabre lib, eg. (3.2.3 (2018-10-19)) doesn't support the pref at all.
I scanned the source as well as the Changelog of the Sabre Lib !
You really should treat this pref optional not mandatory though.
You use version 2.1.11 (2016-10-06), so the extension was invented afterwards !

I've pushed out an urgent hotfix; updated packages should be available in a few minutes.
The whole point is to never use infinity. Now the procedure is recursive and we never fetch more than one level of the folder tree. Or are you saying that your webdav server does not support "1,noroot"?

I can confirm this.
This was working fine. Some update changed the situation.
Most users cannot create new events in their calendar. one however still can.
This is in roundcube. Event creation via caldav is not affected.
Set version to 0.8.11

I'm not sure about how common it is, but we have for example an option to save messages into the folder the replied message comes from. And it is good to have visual information on to which folder the message will be saved while composing. There are also users that wanted occassionally to not save the message at all (as draft or after it's sent). That's why the select contains "- don't save -" option. So, there are some usecases.
