Get timestamps to work

While this implementation is not certainly not finished, I'd like to get it merged and take it from there.

I suppose it depends on the webserver/proxy setup, but using the url without a trailing slash seems odd to me, so I would just add it here.

I don't have good answers to the raised questions, but it seems like this is better than previously doing nothing (almost).
