Currently deploying Kolab, I've found Guam crashing on SSL connections (and not working with iOS devices). In addition, the groupware folders filtering isn't working for some clients (Apple Mail to name it).

Additional insights on whether this and the topic at hand are related would be appreciated.

It seems that in IMAP over SSL (port 993, implicit SSL), a client enabling compression makes the connection get stuck. Enabling compression over IMAP (port 143, STARTTLS) seems to work fine.

Can you disable the use of compression in the client, or revert rG534d19b37ec57efe9754c6cf8a22a59cbdcd7b6f?

Wouldn't it make more sense to use [CapabilityBoundingSet=](https://www.freedesktop.org/software/systemd/man/systemd.exec.html#CapabilityBoundingSet=) instead and keep it running as guam user?

Guam seems to be applying logic that only requires a client to include "/Kolab" in its identity.
