Description

Now that Guam is available, it gives us an opportunity to beat a drum: Run it as beta.somewhere.tld some place, and have people use it.

This ticket represents the desire (or lack thereof) to pursue this goal. In more stringent summary, the changeover would be staged between our kolabsys.com infrastructure and other such infrastructure with more people consuming the lot.

Let's get started with the beta. That is going to add buckets of value to our experience with our products.

Let's make sure that we appreciate that the first iteration for our own infrastructure (i.e. kolabsys.com) would not be an opt-in, but switch over the entire IMAP service.

The lack of this is making my Kolab Now account almost unenjoyable to use. I don't appreciate having my groupware folders tangled amongst my personal folders. To counter this problem, I have had to create a folder called 'Folders' which all of my folders reside in, so that they are a level down from Inbox, just to stop them from being on the same level of hierarchy of groupware folders - this is annoying.

I will also point out that you are the only service provider likely in the world to have groupware folders displayed over IMAP, and have never heard of or encountered this issue. My Fastmail account, which is also capable of storing groupware data doesn't display these folders over IMAP, bloating my desktop client. It is infuriating,

This is already available at beta.kolabnow.com. Continued progress on this belongs in the hands of the Kolab Now ops team, and improvements in guam itself on the guam board.
