Kontact crash while trying to edit a calendar event

When opening an event from the folder with pending invitation via rick-click and "Edit..." Kontact crashes around 50 percent of the time. We have not been able to pin down specific causes for this, but it seems that:

  • repeated events do not cause a crash, only single-time events.
  • having one event with non-ascii characters somewhere in the displayed folders makes a crash more likely.
