Adjusted tests to timezone changes, and fixed timezone tests

We used to not correctly pass the date of conversion in the tests.
With this fixed we now retrieve reasonable values according to current
timezone information. This also reverts
e66b74820cfe75eef58d28ff8cb5d8fa7b3015c9,
which changed the test, probably due to timezone changes.
