Description

Release Kolab 16.

Status Update

Kolab 16 has been made available released in one flavour: Kolab 16 Public Beta with the delivery mechanism being that of OBS repositories signed with community keys.

An additional build project has been created for customers, where packages live where we do something extra, such as modified PHP (VLV/SSS response parsing), haproxy, replicated memcached, httpd and openssl packages.

There is now an upgrade guide from Kolab 3.4 to Kolab 16 (this has been resolved in T982 / D80).

It needs to be understood there is no upgrade path from Kolab Enterprise 14, nor Kolab Enterprise 14 - Extras Audit, nor Kolab Enterprise 14 - Fasttrack on to the Kolab 16 Public Beta edition.

It needs to be understood there is no changelog to various items, for a lack of review on what any developer commits in whichever place.

It needs to be understood there is platform availability only for Maipo. No further platform compatibility can be provided without investment or voluntary participation in pursuing such goals.
