• john creates single event1 with jane and rolf as participants
• john creates recurring event2 with jane and rolf as participants (weekly on friday, 3 repetitions)
• jane sees both events correctly in "open invitations"
• jane opens event1 in calendar and declines
• event1 is no longer visible in "open invitations"
• event1 is visible in "declined invitations"
• jane opens the third occurrence of event2 and declines
• event2 is no longer visible in "open invitations"
• event2 is visible in "declined invitations"
• john has emails for both declined events
• john sees the updated participation status in his calendar on both events
• rolf sees the updated participation status in his calendar on both events
• decline both events with rolf as well and ensure john gets all updates

Doesn't work.

• No events are visible in open invitations
• Event is visible in regular calendar on janes side (wallace stores it there)
• Accepting the event on janes side from the incidenceeditor results in a mail being sent back, but doesn't updated the event itself with the status (not in the email and not in the calendar).
• on a side note, opening the event editor shows the time converted to UTC instead of the relevant timezone

After configuring the identity correctly, the open invitations feature works.
I don't think there is a way to accept the event directly from the calendar view though.
Declining the event from the mailview results in "Error: Could not find incidence to delete."

Similarly, when accepting the invitation a second instance is created instead of the existing invitation getting updated.

jane can decline the event via incidence-editor but gets a message

"You are not the organizer of this event. Editing it will bring your calendar out of sync with the organizer's calendar. Do you really want to edit it?"

so no mail is sent back to john.

I think that incidenceeditor gets somehow the wrong event.

recompiled and i see no more this message but still no mail is sent :(

But what works, is john can decline the event via incidenceeditor and if i look at the invitation mail it says corectly

"Your Declined response has been recorded"

So we have a connection between the event and the mail.

and the declinend event moves form Open Invitation into declinen Invitation Folder, but i need to disable/enable both to see the event in the correct color of the declined folder. I think this happes because we don't get an edit/add/delete event for events in virtual folders.

with T679 and T680 the process works, without exceptions

I assume that means we can close this bug?
