These are currently implemented as tasks associated with session-specific transactions.

The principle of asynchronous checking of passwords, while the user is receiving/typing/submitting a second factor for the authentication is implemented.
This is implied with HOTP, and implemented, but not yet for TOTP.

The "next" URI to hit after going through the multi-step login pages can be tracked as part of the requested URI. It should probably not be, though, and be stored as part of the tracking on the server side.

Setting theme_url_prefix in setup_themes(app, theme_url_prefix='/themes') does not appear to help.
