I did a complete reinstall with kolab 16 some days ago and i am also unable to reproduce. I noticed that the ldif export from the ldap looks different now.

There is an Option called "subscribe-user" https://docs.kolab.org/administrator-guide/using-the-kolab-command-line.html#subscribe-user
which does not seem to exist.

This did not actually result in a resolution for me. I am still unable to create and use resources.
As i don´t have a clean installation at the moment maybe somebody else with a fresh installation should check if this is could be a resolution.

Just a guess, maybe i cannot see log entries because wallace is unable to start?

changed warning to debug, did a complete reboot and i am still unable to see something in the log (from wallace)?
I get error messages to stout when do a kolabd --help (unicodeerror) or a kolab acl-cleanup (CYRUSError Mailbox does not exist) but i think they don´t belong into this discussion

still unable to invite resources after this. Always get Undelivered Mail Returned to Sender...
