Description

Hi,

fresh install of Kolab 16 on Debian 9 (Stretch). Everything works (mails, calendar, contacts, dirsrv, guam, wallaced, the works...) BUT chwala's "Edit" button (button is "grayed"/ somehow disabled.

I tried to go through Rouncubemail's "Files" interface: again, I'm able to create a folder, upload a file, download a file, delete a file, except "create" and "Rename" option. Both causes error message to be displayed:
An error occurred! Storage error. File rename failed.

/var/log/chwala shows the following:
T /chwala/api/?method=file_update)
[10-Aug-2019 19:50:51,571815 -0400]: <skdbpn6s> PHP Error: Error saving object to Kolab server in /usr/share/chwala/lib/drivers/kolab/kolab_file_storage.php on line 540 (POST /chwala/api/?method=file_update)

  • cyrus-imapd reconstruct found nothing new.

I run Kolab since 2005 from 2.x up to Winterfell and under various OSs, opensuse then CentOS 6-7.

2 weeks ago, I decided to start from scratch with Debian 9 Kolab installation (CentOS 7 Winterfell has been proven somewhat a bit too unstable for my taste). First time I'm having such elusive error...

the only whay to work around for now, is to download the file, edit the file independently (with gedit, vi or nano) then upload under a new name...

thanks in advance for your Help

There was a regression in chwala fixed with https://git.kolab.org/rC9770260d90d8b7. This is fixed in chwala-0.5.6-5.1.
