When resizing the window, the dividing line should adjust its position so that the day view is exactly split in half.
When scrolling down, one will see later hours of "a.m." and "p.m." times, respectively.

I don't know if I'd prefer this option. This would make it seem as if 6 pm was earlier than 4pm... It's confusing.
I would rather say you should be able to change the time intervals on the left to different sizes/chunks. For example just see steps for every hour/2 hours. This way you wouldn't have to scroll. But I think we already have a ticket for that.

I agree with @isabel.pacheco, I don't like that devided! It would be harder to see at one glance what time events start and end if they are at the breaking point. I think we already had a ticket for resizing by zooming in and out?

I also would prefer to have just one column, then the day view is consistent with the week and the month view. I also think two columns can be confusing, for example when the event starts before the cut off point of the left column and "ends" in the second column.
