Feature request: Ability to zoom in and out in the calendar and making the steps in the left time line bigger/ smaller
Open, WishlistPublic

Description

In the day as well as the week perspective of the calender the left timeline can not be changed - it is just an hourly step and you can not make the time line steps bigger and thus see the entire day without having to scroll down.

steps to reproduce:

  1. Select the daily or weekly view.
  2. Try to zoom in or out (at the moment they all are 1 hour) to more or less.

actual result:
It is not possible, nothing happens. If you want to see an evening event you have to scroll the calendar down.

Expected result:
Being able to zoom in on parts of the main calendar without the rest being affected.

I would also agree that this should be an option.

Time slots don´t get bigger with more events either. I also think that this should be an option.

@EsIsl I agree, do you want to create an extra ticket for that? :)

You can change settings if you go to settings -> calender
Expanding would be easier though if you need to change more often e.g. if you have a full day / week

I would like to be able to zoom in or out without having to change the settings.

I think most intuitive would be to use scrolling -> click and push up / pull down

Like the way you do drag and drop. Hold the left mouse button and then move it upp or down.

Yes, I think that would be good for when people don't have a multipad.
So everybody agrees that this is a reasonable feature request right? So we can set it as done alright?
