When a user's account in a hosted Kolab installation is a member account of a Groupmanager account and not the admin account, this user has no access to the cockpit. Hence such users can not upgrade their accounts e.g. from lite to full accounts, and they can not change the desired quota.Some user information, As this can be desired behavior in some environmentsconfiguration and preference information is stored in LDAP, it might be too strict a limitation in otherto which users may not have access at all -- direct or via the #web_administration_panel.
To make that possible to enable such facility for such users, a plugin could be created for the webmail client, that provides this functionality as a WAP API client.his may include;
The first itera * Personal phone number,
* Photo,
* Invitation Policy,
* Spam preferences,
* etc.
In the particular case in question, a user is a group manager's account member user, and therefore is not provided access to the #hkccp.
However, the group manager in question may wish for its member users to be provided with an option to upgrade from the default "Lite" account to a better and shinier "Pro" account type (and perhaps downgrade as well).
The first iteration for the plugin in question could hold an upgrade and a downgrade button;
A first few set of profiles would be;
* Email only, "Lite", 2GB static,
* Full groupware + ActiveSync, "Pro", 10GB static.
This means the user (group manager account's member user) will need to be able and allowed to change nsroledn and mailquota attribute values.
